This chromed side table is an unimitable classic and one of the most famous icons of the twentieth century. With its round glass top which can be moved upwards in height, this is undoubtedly one of the most famous adjustable tables known on the world  market today.  E 1027 is the name  Eileen Gray herself gave to this functional object. It also happens to be the name of her summer house which she built  along with her assistant, Jean Badovici ,with whom she had an intermittent relationship.
