Both the chair and the special “X” shaped table designed by Asnago and Vender date back to 1939.  This is when these  architects created their very own philosophy, consisting in conveying  the existence of the material used but in an unobtrusive and balanced manner without detracting from the characteristic  lightness  of these objects.
