Ideal for a variety of environments, this piece can be placed in the office or dining room  and was designed by Le Corbusier with the assistance Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret.  It was first shown at the  “Salon d'Automne” in Paris in 1929.  Although  slightly altered shortly after that it remained faithful to its cubic form,  adjustable back and chromed tubular frame.  This is still a unique and fascinating object in furniture of this kind.
